A few years back, we had an idea that instead of letting our kids buy dumb souvenirs when we go places, we would collect lapel pins to commemorate all of the awesome memories we make as a family.

Going on a trip, chaperoning a field trip, experiencing a significant life event…we get a pin to remember it. It’s taken a few years, but we just filled up our first board of pins. We like talking about the significance of each pin & laughing about the memories associated with it. Hoping to fill up many more pin boards in the years to come.

Flirting

A few days ago Camp came to me & asked what the word “flirt” means. I explained that it’s what people do when they like someone and are trying to impress them.

Last night at dinner we asked Camp what he would say to flirt with a girl & he responded with “I like your boobs.”

I made him reenact his response so we could document it and then made him promise to NEVER say that to a girl. 😂

Maeli is 13!

Maeli loves dancing & anything music. She insists on controlling the music playlist everywhere we go & dances her way through all of her conversations.

This year we watched the entire Gilmore Girls series together & it was easily one of the highlights of my life. I will forever cherish the memories of our nightly watch sessions in her bed & our girls weekends spent eating takeout & binging episodes late into the night.

So thankful for 13 years with this incredible girl. Love you baby girl! 😘
