Ghostface, Little Caesars Guy, & a Pirate

Instead of handing out candy this year, we decided to switch things up and hand out dirty sodas! We sent Maeli and her friends to a busier part of the neighborhood to set up their very own dirty soda bar. Not our typical Arizona Halloween with rain all night, but definitely one we’ll remember!

Birthday Cabin Trip

For Maeli’s 16th birthday, we took her and her friends up to Show Low for the weekend. It was so fun just getting to sit back and watch them be together.

I’m so thankful Maeli has this crew of adopted sisters to laugh with, cuddle with, carry her around the house when she’s sick, make questionable decisions with, randomly bite, relentlessly rag on each other, and somehow turn all of the chaos into the best memories.

What these girls have is really rare and special, and I’m so thankful I get a front-row seat to watch it all. ❤️

Maeli's Fan Club

For Maeli’s birthday, we had stickers made for her friends to hand out at school… because obviously every 16-year-old needs her own fan club. 

Unfortunately, the school AC decided it was also time for an early dismissal (a true birthday gift from the universe), but not before she secured a few new “club” members.
