Every Wednesday Maeli has early release from school so Milo gets to skip nap time. Their afternoons are spent reading books, building forts, & playing house. And when Milo plays "Dad" he is always sure to say "I love you" about 100x. Wednesdays are a favorite around here.
Last week, after Cooley messed up some of Milo's toys, Milo started to walk out of the room. When I asked him where he was going, he said he needed to get his sword and kill Cooley. He then proceeded to go and get his sword, come back in and hit Cooley with the foam sword, and said, "I killed him." Brothers...
I love that the walls of our home are filled with snapshots that hold unique memories known only to us. A bee sting, an escaped crab, a stinky beach...Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and to me, these really are the most beautiful pictures in the world.
5 years ago, our life got a whole lot sweeter when our tiny babe arrived. We've been smitten ever since. Happy bday baby girl! YOU are our greatest adventure!
Baby girl started her first day of kindergarten today. Although her day started in tears, it ended in the words, "Best. Day. Ever." And THAT pretty much makes me the "Happiest. Mom. Ever."
Maeli talks all the time about how she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Her grandparents bought her a vet kit so today her & grandpa went out & did check-ups on all of the horses. Thanks to Doc McFarlane, their ears have been checked, their blood pressure monitored, & they now have their annual immunizations.
