Honk & Wave Parade

Our school put on a parade where the teachers drove around the neighborhood honking & waving to the kids. The kids were so excited to get to see & yell hi to their teachers. I really could not be more thankful for the wonderful teachers & staff that have gone out of their way to make our kids feel special. After homeschooling for 3 days I think it’s safe to say we ALL miss those teachers SO much!

4 Year Old Camp

He pretty much thinks he’s the funniest thing around & rivals his mom in “weirdness.” Life is just so much more fun with Camp around! Happy birthday to our creepy-doll-loving little man!

The Night Before Christmas

Joanie

Many of my friends have heard me talk about my good friend Joanie. Joanie is quirky, independent, strong-willed, & has taught me lessons on patience comparable to that of motherhood. I recently read a quote that said, “It is usually through another person that (God) meets our needs.” I think sometimes he does that in unexpected ways. Joanie was definitely sent into my life to challenge & refine me. She has taught me about compassion & understanding & has played an important role in teaching my kids to serve. I hope everyone is lucky enough to have a “Joanie” in their life at some point. Seeing that smile on her face today kinda made it all worth it. #lighttheworld

The "Boney"

He has recently become obsessed with his “boney” (beanie). He wears it all day & the second he’s done with his bath he puts it on again, sleeping with it all night long. Sometimes he’ll even wear it with a “hook” (hood) if his jacket has one. I guess he won’t be needing a haircut this winter.
