Double Digits
We’ve officially hit double digits!! ✋🏼✋🏼 Maeli is
obsessed with animals & has begged for a hamster every day for the
last year. We told her no & convinced her that she would never get a
pet. When her bday rolled around we wrapped a couple of crappy dollar
store toys we knew she wouldn’t like & gave them to her as her “big
gifts.” The look of disappointment on her face was almost unbearable. We
then called her into the other room & surprised her with a hamster.
What these videos don’t show are the tears that were welling in her
eyes as we were waiting for Ryan to call her into the other room. (I
know, our kids are going to need some serious therapy.) But
really, we couldn’t be more thankful for this kind-hearted, beautiful
girl of ours! Happy 10th baby girl!!
