State Fair

On Tuesday night, Ryan and I were finally able to go to the AZ State Fair. One of the things that we were looking forward to the most was the greasy fair food! Although we consider ourselves to have a pretty high tolerance for greasy foods, I have to admit that we totally underestimated the effect of fair food on our bodies. After eating a massive egg roll on a stick and a foot-long corn dog, we were pretty much done for. Who knows, maybe next year we'll actually make it to fried desserts! Watch out obesity, here we come!

1 Foot Long Corn Dog + 1 Massive Egg Roll = $16.00
Admission to the Park + Riding 2 Rides = $48.00

What. No fried soda? I have been waiting . . . You need to do a 3 day fast before the state fair next year.

I know! I actually didn't see it there, but I heard that it's basically just Dr. Pepper flavored fried bread. Maybe next year!

I have to comment...Ahh the Arizona State Fair. I have fond memories. I've never been to one that compares. That's not rally fair (no pun intended) to say since the only other fairs I've been to are the Spokane Interstate Fair (which I give it a fair rating) and the Lymon, Wyoming county fair (talk about small, but my kids loved it and again, great memories!) What I loved as a kid growing up in Az was the concerts you could go to at the fair and the Indian fry bread. Nothing compares!
Look forward to seeing you this thanksgiving in Spokane.

I know how to spell the word "really" but our keyboard will skip letters randomly so I should have checked before I posted.
